President
Jim Cotter, is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has over 35 years of experience in the chemical industry with Pfizer, J.T. Baker, Mallinckrodt Baker and Avantor. Jim is a certified Principal Environmental Auditor. He developed, implemented and maintained an ISO-14001 certified Environmental Management System.
Jim was the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security manager at a specialty chemical manufacturing facility, with responsibility for
- Air Permit compliance (Title V)
- Water Compliance (2.5 million gallon per day NPDES permitted direct discharge plant, storm water, SPCC, DPCC)
- Waste Management (hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, universal waste and recycling of asphalt, concrete, waste treatment sludge, electronics and paper/cardboard/plastics)
- Risk Management (TCPA/DPCC/RMP/PSM)
- Emergency Response, Remediation (site investigation through compliance with New Jersey Soil and Ground Water Remediation permits)
- Occupational Health & Safety (Life Safety, PPE, Chemical Hygiene, Equipment Safeguards) and Site Security (Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards).
He also was the point of contact for all environmental and safety regulatory inspections.
In addition, Jim has managed environmental projects in the US and Europe. For example: replacement of a non-compliant waste water treatment plant, upgrades to existing waste water treatment plants, installation of air pollution control devices, install and operation of ground water remediation system and removal of 5,000 cubic yards of contaminated river sediments with stabilization and placement in an onsite non-hazardous landfill.

Chris Chartier Cotter, PE is a graduate of Lafayette College with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Likewise, he has over four years of experience with O’Brien & Gere and STV Group. Chris has installed package waste water treatment plants, designed and installed storm water management systems. Additionally, he has supervised remedial investigations and both prepared and submitted site development plans.
Ben Chartier-Cotter, MBA received his undergraduate degree from Drexel University and his MBA from LaSalle University. In addition, Ben has over six years of experience with Citizens Bank, Cardone Industries and Independence Blue Cross. Ben has represented his employer in both ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 audits. He provides expertise in sales/ customer support as well as business development.
